In your role and as part of the Carbon Dynamic team you are expected to support the organisation towards becoming more sustainable by continuously improving what we do and how we do it.

Role Summary

The role is responsible for overseeing all ongoing design and build projects for Carbon Dynamic. The role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of projects on time, budget and quality. This role is responsible for all direct project management activities on a number of major projects, and for overseeing the project management of smaller projects by the design and engineering team. To support the administration of project management activities by the team, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining Carbon Dynamic’s suite pf project management tools and templates. This important role works closely with the Operations, Production and Finance teams to ensure Carbon Dynamic design and deliver buildings in an effective and efficient manner, on time budget and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for delivering projects on time, budget and quality.
• Responsible for developing systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of administering project management activities of the business.
• Responsible for ensuring excellent client communication and feedback.

Key Activities:
• Project management.
• Development and administration of project management documentation.
• Contract management, contract administration, financial administration, procurement administration, training, reporting.
• Resource modelling and forecasting and reconciliation.

Key Skills:
• Strong commercial and project management skills, knowledge of a range of construction contracts, highly organised, pro-active, highly computer literate, adaptable, excellent customer service.

Key Relationships:
• Internal including the Managing Director, Operations Manager, Production Manager, Finance Manager.
• External including customers, suppliers and contractors.

Key Performance Indicators:
• Time, cost and quality of projects vs budget.
• High accuracy and timeliness of tasks.
• Number of contractual management system improvements.
• Great customer feedback.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements:
• Experience with managing multidisciplinary construction, building, trades or manufacturing projects;
• Experience with managing construction projects under typical construction contract forms (specifically NEC3 and JTC);
• Interest in modern methods of construction and manufacturing principles;

• Based in Invergordon with some travel as required.
